چکیده

Abstract This study aimed to identify the factors causing NH 3 emissions in South Korean Peninsula and West Sea region. To analyze trends of other air pollutants, such as NO x , CO, NR-PM 1 we collected samples from six supersites across peninsula, a roadside Seoul, over different sampling periods, ranging month year. The highest concentrations were found at rural areas, ascribed agricultural activities, particularly 4 decomposition high summer temperatures. Areas with low population densities recorded lowest concentrations, attributed lack anthropogenic activities. A field experiment confirmed close link between ambient vehicle urban regions by showing strong correlation CO that . Moreover, examined oceanic near eastern coast Korea Sea. Long-range transportation studies most pollutants (NH PM ) transported wind northeastern region China. maritime origin showed atmosphere owing temperatures pollution. These findings provided valuable insights into emission sources primary Korea, highlighting contributions land-based sources. Our can help inform policymakers stakeholders for developing effective regional pollution control strategies.

Seasonal variations of the atmospheric temperature structure at South Pole

[1] Fe/Rayleigh lidar measurements are combined with the high-altitude balloonsonde data and used to characterize the seasonal variations of atmospheric temperature at South Pole from the surface (2.835 km) to 110 km altitude. Twelve-month oscillations, associated with solar UV absorption by ozone, dominate the seasonal variations of temperature throughout the stratosphere and lower mesosphere ...

Regional, Seasonal, and Diurnal Variations of Extreme Convection in the South Asian Region

Temporal and spatial variations of convection in South Asia are analyzed using eight years of Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission (TRMM) Precipitation Radar (PR) data and NCEP reanalysis fields. To identify the most extreme convective features, three types of radar echo structures are defined: deep convective cores (contiguous 3D convective echo $40 dBZ extending $10 km in height) represent the...

Seasonal variations in the Amazon plume-related atmospheric carbon sink

[1] The Amazon River plume is a highly seasonal feature that can reach more than 3000 km across the tropical Atlantic Ocean, and cover 2 million km. Ship observations show that its seasonal presence significantly reduces sea surface salinity and inorganic carbon. In the western tropical North Atlantic during April–May 2003, plume-influenced stations exhibited surface DIC concentrations lowered ...
